Design, cost consultancy, financial approval, CDM, procurement and construction of this new build community leisure facility using the PRINCE 2 project management system.


Budget:
£3.4m

The new build Leisure Centre occupies 3.2 acres of the 11 acre development site and forms a focal point for the mix-use community regeneration plans for this disused school site.

The building is an elegantly designed steel frame structure and extends to 3,600m2 to incorporate the following community leisure needs;

  • Sports Hall, for badminton courts,basketball court / 5-a-side football
  • 2 squash courts
  • Aerobics studio
  • Crèche
  • Out door netball & tennis courts
  • Café/bar
  • Indoor bowls rink
  • Reception point
  • Changing rooms
  • Toilets
  • Parking
  • Outdoor skateboard park
